Addressing the meeting attended by the Investigation Officers and prosecutors, he said the Bureau was performing its duties according to the law, adding the investigation officers took the investigations to logical end against corrupt elements on the basis of concrete evidence. He said the sole aim of the NAB was to recover looted money from corrupt elements, while taking the corrupt elements to justice.
He said the Bureau believed in taking care of everybody's respect and more facilities were being provided to the accused than jail manual. The NAB chief went on to say that the anti-graft agency didn't believe in any kind of torture, adding the investigations into white-collar crime were based on concrete evidence for which the Bureau's officers were given regular courses. NAB chief directed the investigative officials to "improve their performance". "Do not hurt anyone's self-respect," he said while adding that "NAB does not have a vendetta against anyone".
